Projects

In my time animating, I have worked on several animation projects in a variety of mediums. I specialise in 2D and CG Hybrid Animation, and have experience in animating for TV, film and for games. Listed below are the projects that I have run and managed

Myth of the Cave

Myth of the Cave is a 2D-CG hybrid animated film inspired by the mythology and folklore of cultures from around the world, as well as as apects of estoricism and gnosticism.
The film is a massive project made across multiple different softwares, with a pipeline I designed myself.
Along with taking part in every stage of production, including storyboarding, design, modelling, rigging, 2D and CG animation, compositing and more, I am also managing a team of over 20 people, improving in my skills and a production coordinator and planner.

The film is currently on the festival circuit. If you are interested in screening the film feel free to contact me privately.

Search for a Star

The Search for a Star Games Animation Challenge is a competition I entered in 2023-2024, designed to get university students connected with professionals working in the games industry.

Run by Grads in Games, I had to work to a brief to create a game-ready animation sequence involving multiple states that could be blended between.

The project involved working in Maya and Unreal, with a rig that could be imported into both.

I was selected along with four other people as a finalist for this competition, earning an interview with industry professionals.

H2Go

H2Go is a second-year collaborative film project I created with three other animators. We had to work together to create a 50-second animated film designed for pre-schoolers.

The film was made in under 10 weeks, and was our first time creating a fully-animated film from start to finish.

The film was made in Maya, although other software was used in the pipeline.

I aided in every step of the process, including storyboarding, design, modelling, rigging, 2D and CG animating and compositing, however the role I took upon the most was production manager, organising and managing steps of production.

Character Animation

Alongside my larger projects, I like to work on small bits of character animation to improve my skills in weight, dynamics and character acting.

As a hybrid animator, I work in a variety of software, including Maya, Blender, Unreal, ToonBoom Harmony, Clip Studio Pro, Adobe Animate and more.
